Pull-Apart Cheesy Biscuit Christmas Tree

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes of Mason Dixie Cheddar Chive Biscuits, thawed
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 C. grated mozzarella cheese
  • Salt, parmesan, and red pepper flakes to taste

How to Bake

  • Thaw biscuits overnight in the fridge
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine garlic, butter and oil in a microwaveable bowl and heat on high until butter is melted, about 20-30 seconds in microwave. Stir in chopped parsley and thyme
  • Cut each biscuit in half. You should end up with 24 half biscuits
  • Roll each half into a ball shape, approximately the size of a golf ball and place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree. Leave about ½-inch of space between each biscuit ball
  • Brush the herb mixture onto the dough using a pastry brush. Stuff shredded mozzarella cheese in the spaces between the biscuits. Sprinkle salt, parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes to taste
  • Bake 14-16 minutes until golden brown
  • Serve with warmed marinara sauce and enjoy!
