Ingredients
- Mason Dixie Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuits
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- Oil for frying
- Honey
For the brine:
- ½ gallon water
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ⅓ cup salt
- 1 T dry or fresh thyme
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed
How to Bake
- Thaw biscuits overnight in the fridge and brine chicken thighs in brine mixture for up to 2 days
- Place each thawed biscuit , one biscuit at a time, into a waffle maker and cook according to waffle maker instructions
- While waffle is baking, preheat your frying oil to 375 degrees F
- Prep your dredge with all ingredients
- Dredge and fry thighs until golden brown and registering 165 degrees F
- Top biscuit waffles with fried chicken
- Drizzle with honey
